Viewing Registration Holds
You can view your holds online by logging in to Texas State Self-Service and then following the instructions below. The Office of the University Registrar cannot remove holds. You must contact the department who placed the hold to request it be removed or if you have questions as to why the hold was placed on your record.
1) Log in to Texas State Self-Service
To view holds, a student must first log in to Texas State Self-Service. Click on the "Student" link from the Main Menu.
2) Student Menu
Click on the "Student Records" link in the Student menu
3) View Holds from Student Records
Under the "Student Records" menu.
Select "View Holds". All active holds will be displayed.
4) View Holds from Registration
The following pages located under "Registration" contain a link to the "View Holds" menu.
- Registration - Add/Drop Courses
- Registration Status (View Holds & Time Tickets)
5) View Holds within Your "Student Profile"
Select "Student Profile" found under the "Student Tab".
Look to the far right to view any holds.
